INSPIRING ARTISTS AND ART APPRECIATORS

Dance and music are live art forms, their history reliant on generations of artists giving back through oral tradition. By actively engaging with students and young artists in the community, Revolve Dance Project is committed to keeping that tradition alive by working directly with youth to make our art forms accessible to the next generation.

Revolve Dance Projects's Educational Community Programming includes free personalized dance masterclasses, artist talks, music theory classes, open rehearsals, dancer shadowing experiences, and complimentary tickets to our performance event for dance students.

In its first 2 seasons, Revolve Dance Project has partnered with the Ballet RI School Summer Dance Intensive and the YMCA's Shooting Stars School of Dance to provide 50+ hours of education to 100+ students. By peeling back the curtain and allowing students to directly observe the creation process and interact with the artists, Revolve Dance Project's Educational Outreach program provides youth with the tools to create a sustainable future for themselves in the arts.

We really learned a lot in these classes. We were so happy to work with these teachers to help improve our technique."
